The Center has been donating trees in the drier, most deforested regions in our area since 2014.

In the past, it collaborated with the no longer existing Bell Bird Foundation. Later, it received saplings directly from ICE (the Costa Rican electric company), cared for them for an entire year until they were strong enough to be planted.

The trees were then donated to areas of severe deforestation. Due to the pandemic, 2020 was the last year the Center worked reforesting on a large scale (thousands or hundreds of trees). However, in 2021, thanks to a high school student who wanted to use his school project to help the people and the regional wildlife, nearly 150 fruit trees were donated to families who committed to caring for them.
